More foodstorage fun. (EDITTED)
It has been awhile since I got on to blog so today I just decided I needed to put some pictures on here and write more about them when I get around to it. This collage shows out lunch from a few weeks ago. Eli, Micali, and Luke have become huge fans of the bread recipe I have been using lately. It makes amazing bread, cinnamon rolls, and hamburger buns. I can't seem to keep up with the demands. I love seeing the kids and Luke get so excited over a fresh warm loaf. (for the recipe go to everydayfoodstorage.net and look under Wheat Bread and she even has a Youtube video with a how-to demonstartion)
In other news-----we are staying busy and getting ready for our move. We are getting rid of MANY MANY things and it actually feels good. We are enjoying our last summer here for now and are looking forward to our next adventure in Monticello!

Family Night
Lastnight for Family Night we went to enjoy the nice weather at the beach. It was the first time we had taken the kids down there this Spring and they loved it. I was surprised that Eli was fine crawling through the cold wet sand. Micali loved that we took "chocolate milk"(hot cocoa) for her to drink and her favorite part was throwing rocks in the water with her daddy! We will surely miss this beautiful place!
Eli's first tries at painting and playdoh
On Sunday I had sick kids and was feeling under the weather myself so we stayed home from church. I decided to get out the paints and playdoh to easily keep the kids entertained. I usually do this with Micali when Eli is down for a nap but, since he didn't take one he was there to join in the fun. He was a super slow learner that playdoh REALLY DOES NOT taste good. I had a wonderful Mother's day --Luke took good care of me and made me my favorite lasagna and cherry cheesecake. Which I actually enjoyed more yesterday since I was feeling better! Being a mother is great, especially with my sweet kiddos!
My flower girl.
Micali just loves flowers. She loved my roses I got for my anniversary and would ask to hold one to smell it every day. Here are a few pictures of her absolutely enjoying herself.
Hottest day of the year---Luke turned 30!!
Luke did have his 30th birthday a few weeks back. We enjoyed a nice barbeque with friends and the nicest weather this year and maybe last year too. It was around 70 degrees. I had to put sunscreen on the kids and even take Eli inside for a break from the sun. How are are my little fair skinned kids going to make it in the desert?
