Hiatus....
We decided to be super spontaneous. We are currently in Utah for my sisters wedding and will be stopping in Kansas and Michigan to visit family before we return to Alaska. If you didn't know we were leaving you aren't the only one because it was a very last minute thing. Tony...Luke especially wanted me to tell you he is sorry for not telling you goodbye and well don't miss him too much. We will return on July 11th to help with the chickens!!

Eli is trying something new! I gave him some rice cereal tonight, he hasn't quite got the hang of it but he does open his mouth wide when he sees it coming! Such a cutie.

Finally a family picture
Chicken Update!!
Fun with Grandpa and Grandma!!
I think Grandma Kueser must have hid from the camera while she was here I only have this one picture of her. She was also holding Eli in the one of him making the peace sign while sucking his fingers! We had a great time with them and were happy they were able to come for a visit! Miss you mom and dad!!!!
Wild Animals
Grandpa and Grandma Kueser were able to come up and visit us. We had a lot of fun with them. I was so happy that they got to come see Eli while he was still a "little" baby. These pictures were taken at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Luke did a great job with the camera. Micali had fun seeing the animals and Eli was able to eat his lunch. The little moose babies at the top were just a little ways down from our house we stopped and got pictures of them a different day but they still fit with this collage! Enjoy.

Spaghetti Mess!!
Luke made spaghetti for dinner on Sunday and Micali thought the sauce looked a lot like fingerpaint. We didn't have bathtime in our plan for the night so we put her in the sink for a quick clean up. The deep sink came in quite handy!
Food Storage in progress......
We went to visit our baby chickens we ordered with some friends. They are being generous to Lucas to help him fulfill his lifelong dream of being a farmer. We split 50 meat chicks and our friends ordered 3 turkeys and 25 egg layers for a grand total of 78. They should be ready for "harvest" on July 14th. We will keep you updated.
