MOUTH……..disease.
My sweet little Abigail or “Abbers” as she is commonly referred to by her siblings was the only unfortunate one to get this WEIRD sickness. She was pretty grumpy the few days that her tongue had sores on it but the blisters on her hands and toes didn’t seem to bother her at all. She is doing much better now and hopefully Micali and Eli will not show up with any of the symptoms. I am hoping it has been too long but who knows.
I have one more year in my twenties. I have been thinking of a few things I would like to do before turning 30. Right now something I really want to do is run a half-marathon. I am excited to start training once we get moved and settled in.
Here are a few pictures from my birthday. We celebrated just a little since Luke was at school up at Utah State for his last week of summer classes.

We were so happy to have my cousin Cera and her family stop in for a visit on their move to WA. The kids were so excited to have a daddy to play with even if he wasn’t there's. Aaron was so great to read stories to Micali and wrestle with Eli. Micali was also in love with their new baby Gavin.
These two pictures crack me up because Jaylen is smiling just like his daddy did. Micali and Aaron were trying to see who could have the biggest CHEESE.
With daddy gone there are a lot of things I get to do that I haven’t had to do. Like fixing Marley’s dog run (finding the right hardware at the store and drilling into the tree to make an new hole), running clothes to the laundry mat since our dryer is out of commission, mowing the lawn, jumping a dead battery on the van---shouldn’t have left the keys in it.
So many things that help me appreciate all Luke contributes on a daily basis.

Yummy! A great way to end a sunny Saturday full of morning chores, mini golfing, mowing the lawn and fun with the babysitter while mommy took a break to go to the temple!
The Brainiac of the family has left for two weeks of college life. He is taking 3 courses this summer and will probably be SUPER busy until the end of July.
We all got some hugs from him before he left.
That smile on me is mostly FAKE. I wasn’t that excited for him to be leaving. He told me I have to be strong though so I am trying…..really hard!
I told Luke I would keep him posted on what we are up to while he is gone so here are a few more random pictures.
Eli was so worn out from playing outside all morning. This “nap” only lasted about 10 minutes and he rolled over and said, “Time to wake up?”
Micali misses her Daddy. She keeps asking if she will ever see him again. She also asked this morning…Does my Daddy still love me?
busted chin, scraped elbows, fat-lip, bruised shins…….and she keeps on riding ALL THE TIME!
My little sister Kara is here to play for a couple weeks this summer. We are sure enjoying having her. Luke is in training and then will have summer school at Utah State after that. It is nice to have her here to play with the kids and to have someone to hang out with. We have been having a lot of fun outside.
My dad and brother Doug dropped Kara off and we had a fun visit before they went on to see Kendra, Austin, and Derrick.
We cut Kara’s hair! She loves it!
