Our House---Transformation!

We decided to paint our house last Friday. Luke came home from work and saw the neighbor's painting their house so we were inspired to get ours painted before winter too. We had bought the paint at the Labor day sale but after a month straight of rain in September we had decided we would have to wait until spring. We were blessed with a few sunny days in a row so we decided to give it a try. We got the house all primed on Friday and then painted on Saturday. Now we need another nice day to get the trim painted. We had the primer tinted the same color as our paint and didn't like it so the nice lady at Home Depot let us change our mind and fixed our paint. We went from a greenishBLUE (it looked really blue) to a more grayishgreen color. We decided to keep the shutters off and will fill in with cedar siding underneath the windows. We love the color and are looking forward to seeing the finished project!

I really like the color! It'm making me want to paint. Jared & I actually picked out paint chips. We're just not sure how the paint will do on Al siding. Oh, and I suppose now's not a good time to tell you it was 77 degrees here today. Enjoy the snow! :O ~Aimee
